Table 1 of the dissertation reports reliability coefficients from .82 to .94 for eight scales. The table below transcribes those values for a version used around 2008. They are not current evidence for OQM 80.

How to interpret these values

  • The historical scales have different names from today’s OQM 80 factors. Similar labels do not prove that the questionnaires measure the same things.
  • The dissertation also reports associations with performance, intention to stay and strain. Correlations alone do not establish causation or guarantee an intervention’s effect.
  • Claims about the current questionnaire require its own documentation of the sample, items, norms and measurement properties.
